Products — SofiaHelp

A flight simulatorfor therapists.

Voice AI simulation for clinical training. Trainees run real practice sessions with AI clients who push back, go quiet, and resist — and supervisors review what actually happened.

Today on the platform: 50+ clinician-authored AI clients, 9+ AI supervisors, 10,000+ practice sessions, 500+ students.

The problem

Clinical skill is built in sessions — and the system doesn’t have enough of them.

Students graduate with theory and roughly 20 hours of real practice before their first client. Quality supervision costs $150+ an hour and often disappears right after licensure. And when a supervisor carries a full caseload of trainees, individual case review shrinks to a few minutes per person per week.

The result: new clinicians meet trauma, grief, and resistance for the first time with a real person in the room.

What it does

Practice in. Supervisor review out. Repeat.

SofiaHelp is a deliberate-practice platform. A trainee picks an AI client — one of 50+ authored by clinicians, each with a history, a presenting concern, and a way of resisting — and runs a full voice session, any time, without scheduling a role-play partner. The session is transcribed and scored across 10+ competency metrics, and an AI supervisor debriefs it in the trainee’s modality: CBT, Gestalt, REBT, person-centered and more.

For training programs, the Supervisor Console closes the loop. Human supervisors see every practice session across the cohort, annotate transcripts on the exact line where a session turned, add their own rating, and send targeted feedback — without adding headcount. It is not an hour-tracker: logging tools prove supervision happened; the console shows what happened.

Inside the platform

AI practice clients
50+ clinician-authored clients across anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and more. Real-time voice, multi-session memory, available 24/7.
Evaluation & AI supervision
Every session auto-transcribed and scored on 10+ competencies. 9+ AI supervisors debrief in a specific modality — feedback maps to what programs actually teach.
Supervisor Console for programs
Cohort dashboards, per-line transcript annotation, supervisor ratings and narrative feedback. Built for clinical directors who can’t hire their way out of the supervision bottleneck.
Skills Lab beta
Structured deliberate-practice courses. The first course teaches two-chair and empty-chair work: a guided run through five stages, isolated stage drills, and a no-hints capstone with a randomly assigned client. Passing earns a verifiable Certificate of Completion.

Who it serves

From a student’s first session to a cohort of hundreds.

Individuals. Counseling students preparing for practicum, and early-career therapists practicing unfamiliar presentations after licensure. Plans from free to $179/month.

Programs and organizations. CACREP counseling programs, internship and field-training agencies, school-based counseling programs, community behavioral health, group practices, and trauma-informed training teams. Institutional access includes admin oversight and cohort pricing.

Students at CACREP-accredited programs — including California State University Northridge and the University of South Dakota — already practice with SofiaHelp.

Clinical rigor

Why the sessions hold up.

SofiaHelp is built by practicing therapists and guided by senior clinical advisors. Every AI client is authored by clinicians, not generated at scale, so sessions behave the way real people do. Session data is encrypted; the architecture is FERPA-conscious, and in institutional plans directors see aggregate progress, not individual transcripts without consent.

SofiaHelp supplements human supervision and clinical training — it does not replace them. Certificates of Completion are not continuing-education (CE) credit. An NBCC ACEP application is in process.

See it with your own cohort in mind. A first AI session takes five minutes; a walkthrough for programs takes thirty.
